Same place, same roads, same houses, MORE NOISE
In its 1987 sound study report, the MTQ included in the appendix a few photos illustrating the proximity of the highway with the homes on the south side of highway 20. We returned to the same place to compare. Here is the result.
For 30 years, the city, or the MTQ, has allowed vegetation to grow along the highway. A pile of dust of about a meter has even been installed in some places. Hiding the highway does not reduce the noise a bit.
